Our Low Vision Services help patients make the most of their remaining functional vision so they can maintain independence and continue managing
everyday activities despite vision loss.
At Miami Lighthouse, patients receive a comprehensive functional vision assessment from our low vision optometrist, who works closely with our occupational/low
vision therapist, and our board-certified licensed dispensing optician, to identify and recommend appropriate assistive devices.
We also provide personalized training on the use of these devices, along with practical recommendations for improving safety, accessibility, and independence within the home.

In our Vision Solutions Center, a wide variety of magnifiers and other assistive devices are available to assist with specific tasks, including:
